Biography

Dr. Tharshani Nishanthan is a highly skilled and accomplished professional with comprehensive expertise in quality assurance and regulatory affairs and a Ph.D. graduate from the University of Vermont, USA . She possesses a valid security clearance with Health Canada and is an approved Quality Assurance Person (QAP) under Cannabis Act/Cannabis Regulations. Through her experience, she has amassed a breadth of knowledge in quality assurance and regulatory affairs and orchestrating project implementations, as well as ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. She has been working as one of the leading licensing and quality assurance persons in the cannabis industry since 2013. She is also the founder of Q4S Management and Scientific Consulting firm for the HC licensing including Cannabis, medical devices, NHP, etc

Additionally, she worked at the Lecture University of Jaffna and she has published and presented more than 25 papers locally and internationally and received more than 10 awards and scholarships including a PhD USDA National Science Research scholarship.
