●The Cannabis Quality Assurance for Cannabis certificate training program provides you with the technical knowledge and skills for assuring that each cannabis product is safe and suitable for sale or to be provided under the Cannabis Regulations Act.

●Our QA for Cannabis training is recognized by industry leaders and accepted by regulatory agencies across Canada and at a global level.

●Training will allow you to develop Good Production Practices (GPP), Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Management Systems (QMS), record keeping, complaint and recall programs as well as implement written procedures for the approval or rejection of all products, specifications, representative sampling plans, test methods, controls, and results that affect the purity, quality and the composition of cannabis products.

Rathi Param is the president/founder of the NACPT Pharma College, International Medical Cannabis Association (IMCA), and Validation Tech Inc. Rathi earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry from University Ottawa, MBA in Technology from the University of Phoenix, and Post Graduate Pharmaceutical QA & QC Certification from SRN Institute. She is an innovative and creative leader with more than twenty years of hands-on experience in many scientific industries (medical cannabis, medical devices, environmental, food, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical), complemented with fifteen years of academic and corporate training experience. She holds extensive expertise and knowledge in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Formulation, Validation, Technology Transfer, Manufacturing Technology, Process Improvements, Auditing, and Inspection.

 

Today, Rathi is the Dean of NACPT Pharma College, Head of Health Canada approved Research and Development cannabis facility of IMCA, and Head of Cannabis Laboratory at Validation Tech Inc. Rathi is recognized for developing the first-ever ministry approved Cannabis Diploma programs in Canada. She also acts as the Quality Assurance Person (QAP) consultant for Green Amber Canada (Cannabis Producer) and holds consultant positions for many new and existing cannabis companies in Canada. Moreover, Rathi has assisted medical cannabis companies to become a Licensed Producer of Cannabis for Medical Purposes through Health Canada.

 

In the past 15+ years, Rathi has held strategic management roles in major Canadian pharmaceutical companies. Validation Scientist at Patheon Inc., Validation Services Manager at Sanofi Pasteur Limited, Toronto., Validation Specialist at Ciba Vision, Mississauga., Validation Quality Engineer (Consultant) at iPOC, Toronto, QA Director at CMAX Technologies, Validation Director at Validation Tech Inc., and Quality Assurance Person in charge at Green Amber Canada, Vancouver to name a few. Rathi’s interest in helping students, employers, and professionals across the world to commence their careers in the cannabis, pharmaceutical, and related industries was the motivation behind the launch of NACPT Pharma College, International Medical Cannabis Association (IMCA), and Validation Tech; to provide hands-on training and create a platform to direct the pathway to successful recruitment by the pharmaceutical, cannabis and related companies.

 

Kunal Sudan

Kunal Sudan earned his BA from McMaster University and Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions from Ryerson University. Kunal has been training students and cannabis licensed producers in various topics in the cannabis industry since 2019 at NACPT Pharma College. He has a thorough knowledge of Health Canada’s Cannabis Regulations Act and all related regulations required in the cannabis industry. Kunal has more than 6 six years of experience in the research and development field, especially within cannabinoid sciences. He spent several years educating both patients and clinicians, developed clinical trial applications, and have overseen patient care. Kunal has been actively participating in the Continuing Medical Education at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine of Canadian Consortium on the Investigation of Cannabinoids.
