NACPT is the first college in Canada to provide government-approved cannabis post graduate diploma credentials widely accepted by the Canadian and International Cannabis industry and regulatory standards. The legalization and commercialization of cannabis have increased demand for Quality Assurance Persons, Quality Control Analysts, Quality Assurance consultants, Quality Assurance Coordinators, QA Auditors and other QA/QC-related jobs in Canada. Successful completion of this nine-month cannabis diploma program will provide students with career-related skills and knowledge on cannabis Good Production Practices (GPP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), QA auditing, QC cannabis testing, cannabis scientific technical writing, cannabis quality assurance systems, quality management systems (QMS), and cannabis regulatory framework.
The Cannabis Quality Control and Quality Assurance program provides you with the technical knowledge and skills for assuring that each cannabis product is safe and suitable for sale or to be provided under the Cannabis Act and Regulations. Our Quality Assurance for Cannabis training is recognized by industry leaders and accepted by regulatory agencies across Canada and at a global level.
The training will allow you to develop all the Quality Assurance systems and Quality Control program for cannabis and related companies including Good Production Practices (GPP), EU- GMP, Quality Assurance (QA) programs and Quality Management Systems (QMS), instrumentation (HPLC, GC, Dissolution and other systems), testing software training, record keeping, complaint, recall, sanitation, audit and inspection. The diploma will also cover implementing written procedures for the approval or rejection of all products, specifications, representative sampling plans, test methods, controls, results that affect the purity, quality and the composition of cannabis products, and change control, CAPA and gap analysis technical components.
Attendees may interact with the class and lead trainers for more clarifications or concerns. At the conclusion of training, qualified graduates will be awarded a post graduate diploma. Employees of cannabis companies may utilize our certificate to fulfill their training needs as per Health Canada’s regulatory requirements.
The NACPT faculty are highly experienced professionals from the industry who have an extensive understanding of current industry trends in cannabis quality control and quality assurance. Hands-on experience is provided through quality control training, industrial workshops, guest speakers’ sessions, field trips, case studies, and internship opportunities for successful career placement.
English as a Second Language (ESL) International program – Level 5, Prerequisite program for enrolling into an academic vocational diploma program
Duration: 8 Weeks, Mode of Delivery: In person
ESL – Level 5 is the prerequisite program to enroll into any academic program for temporary residence students in Canada. Integrate intermediate grammar to advanced level of speaking, writing, listening and written communication.

NACPT offers its unique job development program for all graduates. Being a part of the program will allow the graduates to work with an industry professional, individually, to obtain the maximum job opportunities in the Cannabis QA/QC industry. As part of the job development program, the career development team will help each NACPT graduate tailor the resume, prepare candidates for specific job positions, conduct mock interviews, connect with industry experts, and have exclusive access to the job market. Every qualified student will receive references on particular projects completed under this program. You will also have the opportunity to with NACPT alumni working in pharma or related sectors.

Dr. Carlos Aragon is a Specialist in Process and Products at Sanofi Pasteur Limited, Toronto. He has 15 years of experience working in research laboratories, pharmaceutical and analytical chemistry; research & development and Quality Control achieving results, improving new techniques, procedures and products with advanced scientific knowledge.
Elena earned her Bachelor of Engineering Degree Faculty of Industrial Chemistry and Cannabis Quality Assurance Certificate. Elena is a quality and results-driven professional with over 15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical and related industries, managing Quality Systems and training employees with leading pharmaceutical companies such as Apotex Corp., GERMIPHENE Corp, and BAXTER CORPORATION.

Gaurav Raval has joined the NACPT Lead Training Team in 2020 as part of the Cannabis Quality Control and Quality Assurance department. It is his job to train students and employees in cannabis analytical testing, method development and validation using HPLC, GC and Dissolution Apparatus.
Gavin Clark has a deep understanding of cannabis and the developing industry in Canada as well as internationally. This includes the many beneficial properties of cannabis chemistry, their medical applications as well the legal framework regulating it in Canada. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario in Political Science. As Managing Director of Delta Eight Pharmaceuticals, Gavin is involved in research and development work in medical and recreational cannabis. Gavin is currently working as an advisor to cannabis-based businesses including Newstrike and Up Cannabis.
Karim Meghji is a well-seasoned senior scientist with 25 years work experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, CRO/CMO and CDMO companies. He acquired his MSc. in Biology from the University of Waterloo where he conducted research in microbial biotechnology and wrote a thesis on production, purification, and characterization of extracellular carboxylesterases from B. subtilis.
Kunal Sudan earned his BA from McMaster University and Graduate Certificate in Mental Health and Addictions from Ryerson University. Kunal has been training students and cannabis licensed producers in various topics in the cannabis industry since 2019 at NACPT Pharma College. He has a thorough knowledge of Health Canada’s Cannabis Act and Regulations and all related regulations required in the cannabis industry.

Rathi Param is the president/founder of NACPT Pharma College, International Medical Cannabis Association (IMCA), and Validation Tech Inc. Rathi earned her B.Sc. in Chemistry from University Ottawa, MBA in Technology from the University of Phoenix and Post Graduate Pharmaceutical QA & QC Certification from SRN Institute. She is an innovative and creative leader with more than twenty years of hands-on experience in many scientific industries (medical cannabis, medical devices, environmental, food, pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical), complemented with fifteen years of academic and corporate training experience. She possesses extensive expertise and knowledge of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Formulation, Validation, Technology Transfer, Manufacturing Technology, Process Improvements, Auditing, and Inspection.
